The hostile "Hohe Warte"

This hostile was housed in a large villa in the 19th Viennese district and was managed in summer 1946 as Rädda-Barnen-children's hostile. The personnel came from Sweden and from Vienna. In this home needy children between 3 and 6 years selected by Sweden were housed for 6 to 8 weeks and supported by Swedish Aid (Schwedenhilfe) Rädda-Barnen. The home was opened at September 22, 1946 by president Margit Levinson in the presence of Vienna's mayor Dr.h.c.Körner.
