The patron saint of fiacres is Saint Fiacrius. This coach is named after the coaches located at the church St.Fiacre in Paris, they are part of typal Vienna. Fiacres were an important transportation until beginning of 20th century. Fiacre transported not only in Vienna, they were known for transporting people to Heuriger and retour ->Heuriger ->Picture Heuriger Later fiacres were more and more replaced by automobile-taxis.
