Constructed by Lukas von Hildebrandt for count Daun in the year 1713-1716. He was one of the four military advisors of Maria Theresia and one of the four rider-statues at the monument of Maria Theresia. The decoration in main- and adjoining building is by Giovanni Giuliani from the years 1707-1709. The stucco is by Santino Bussi (1704-1706). The fresco in Sala Terrana is by Johann Michael Rottmayr (1705-1708), as well as the ceiling-paintings in the library. The paintings in the two stairways are by A.Bellucci, the ceiling- and wallpaintings in the rooms too and from Marcantonio Franceschini.
