The Virgil-chapel from the year 1307 was discovered at digs for the subway. This very old chapel, owned by family Chrannest in 14th century, served possibly as grave a rich merchant's family and was lost in 19th century. The chapel contains byzantine elements, which can be seen at that crosses, and can be seen from the subway-station Stefansplatz.
