 There is a rumor saying that Mozart wrote this Requiem (KV 626) in
presentiment of death for himself, another rumor is about a mysterious
commissionaire. However many composers wrote masses for the dead. Unfortunately
Mozart could not finish his requiem, his scholarFranz Xaver Suessmayr worked out
the final version. My interpretation from the 21st century sounds more like the
death of a rockstar, but: Mozart is a star, isn't he. |
Ein Gerücht besagt, daß Mozart das Requiem (KV 626) in Todesahnung für sich selbst geschrieben
hat, ein anderes erwähnt einen Auftrag durch einen geheimnissvollen Boten. Wie auch immer, viele
Komponisten haben Totenmessen geschrieben. Mozart konnte sein Requiem leider nicht vollenden, sein
Schüler Franz Xaver Süßmayr arbeitete die Endfassung aus. Meine Version aus dem 21.Jahrhundert
